- Tell a story: This will be one of your first chances to introduce your company. Instead just regurgitating a history of the company, choose an experience that represents your company and what it stands for. Maybe it is the day you opened your business, or a specific transaction where you accomplished what you set out to do. Whatever it is, make sure it includes the values of your company and engages the customer, making them want to read more.

-Share your credentials: Credentials are an important part of letting customers get to know you. They need to know your expertise and your experience. Make sure you share your education, associations you belong to, awards you may have recieved and businesses or people you have worked with. Let them know why they can trust you.

-Introduce yourself with pictures: This is a good place to show that your are a legitimate business. Post pictures of yourself, your team and even your office. Include bios, your business address and contact information. Customers want to know that they can get in touch with you if something goes wrong. By showing that you are reachable and legitimate, customers will be more willing to trust you.

-Let them know what they can expect from you: This section is not for listing your services or products. This is where you let your customers know what their experience will be with your company. What are your core values? What sets you apart from other companies? What can your customers expect from doing business with you?

-Tell them how to get to know you better: This is where you provide links to other websites such as blogs and facebook or twitter pages. It shows that you have a web presence and are easily reachable. It also helps them get to know you by seeing how you respond in different forums.
